Thank you Lena Dementieva

for showing once again in today's match how character can make the difference in tennis! Well done by Mauresmo also but the better woman won.

ys promised me there wouldn't be a Mauresmo-Davenport final, i was starting to get nervous but he has delivered on it...

Congrats Lena. You played fantastic today and was able to beat my fave. Amelie was very gracious and charming indeed.

MARIA SHARAPOVA: "Amélie, you know it doesn't really matter at this point. I mean, I'd love to, I mean, Amélie is No. 1 in the world. She's playing great tennis. You know, I love that challenge of going out there and competing against the best in the world."
You'd love to what, Maria?

Momo couldn't even beat a weak server who was in terrible pain. Another choke.
