Woah, I thought Ai was about twenty two... why am I unable to like younger players?!

Lindsay's younger than J.Cap, if your doing it in an exact order :$

Lindsay Davenport

Elena Bovina | Anastasia Myskina | Flavia Pennetta
Fernando Verdasco | Tommy Haas

Q. Give us an update on the kid.
A. Are you serious?

Well, this is time that is lacking fresh talent.
Just compare it with the "Golden Age of Tennis" (1987-1996) where I have some stats about the semi-finalists' age in the first years:

FO 1988: Graf 18, Zvereva 17, Sabatini 18, Provis 18.

FO 1989: ASV 17, Graf 19, MJ Fernandez 17, Seles 15.

FO 1990: Seles 16, Graf 20, Capriati 14, Novotna 21.
USO 1990: Sabatini 20, Graf 20, MJ Fernandez 19, ASV 18.

AO 1991: Seles 17, Novotna 22, MJ Fernandez 19, ASV 19.
FO 1991: Seles 17, ASV 19, Sabatini 21, Graf 21.
Wim 1991: Graf 22, Sabatini 21, MJ Fernandez 19, Capriati 15.

Talent in abundance ....

And today?
Over-the-hill players like Davenport, Capriati, Pierce still with good chances,
only 2 teenagers (with no chance to win a slam) among the last 16 .....
