same country finals in a GS!

yes folks!

we have already all US finals too many times...
all Belgian finals three times...
all russian final once...

the question is....how remotely possible it is for JAPAN! yes folks, Japan to replicate this scenario.

with Ai and Shinubo on different half of the draw and are 3 wins away from the finals, how great is the chances?

oh i guess very remote but i would so love this thing: "All JAPAN All Asian Final! whoohoo!!!!!!!!!!!!!

or am i just dreaming?

Yes you are dreaming, but I'm sure you know that. There is nothing wrong about that. It would be amazing but it's also quite unrealistic.

call me a dumbass but I'm having this funny feeling that the two Japanese girls will go all the way and face off in the final. I know it's a crazy thought but somehow...yes somehow.. for some reason I feel like it's going to HAPPEN!

lol anything is possible, but the chances of that are extremely slim
they would both have to be on a roll to defeat both Williams, JHH, Momo, Pierce, Jcap and the others.

MARIA SHARAPOVA: "AmÚlie, you know it doesn't really matter at this point. I mean, I'd love to, I mean, AmÚlie is No. 1 in the world. She's playing great tennis. You know, I love that challenge of going out there and competing against the best in the world."
You'd love to what, Maria?

Go Japan!!!!

I think that feeling goes back to Japan's best performance at the Olympics in Athens! Is this gonna be the Year of Japanese Sports? go!!!!!

I'm not sure for Shinobu, but with Ai, you never know. She always gave Capriati trouble and I think it will keep going today. I love Ai and Jen so much, I hate to see this matchup but I think that this time Ai will take it. If Jen wins though, I'll be more than happy and same thing if Ai takes it

I think an all French final is very doable here. But me hopes for Venus to bring it all the way here.
For a while there when there was a few all williams ones, it never sounded like the americans thought of it as an all american one.

Rena- a tennis great! 22 at striking distance.

To have two people from the same country to fight for the titel this is still possible: (correct me if I'm wrong)

Venus Williams vs. Jennifer Capriati
Venus Williams vs. Serena Williams
Lindsay Davenport vs. Jennifer Capriati
Lindsay Davenport vs. Serena Williams

Nadia Petrova vs. Elena Dementieva
Nadia Petrova vs. Vera Zvonareva
Svetlana Kuznetsova vs. Elena Dementieva
Svetlana Kuznetsova vs. Vera Zvonareva

Mary Pierce vs. Amelie Mauresmo

Shinobu Asagoe vs. Ai Sugiyama

Yes! and a four all-nation Final possibility is at hand!

The most i really want to happen is the JAPANESE Duel!
The American has happened before, and i think its not just between Serena & Venus.
The russian @ FO, nah...its not a good sight!
The french is i think a better one than the russian and with a greater probability at happening than the Japanese, with two big babes with contrasting firepower, but because Amelie is one in there, i so dnt like it because it means she is gonna be #1 @ expense of Juju and i dnt like it

(as much as possible i want her to go out earlier than Juju, but i am just crossing fingers now....I hope. Amelie fans please dnt be mad @ me.)
