Thumbs up How Maria wins in the end

With the fickle media, who might bash her after this loss, all she needs to do is make the cover of Maxim next month, and all will be right with the world.

In the end, the media doesn't give a flying f about her game or if she wins another match. Can she sell mags like Kournikova (another phenom whose game the media could care less about)?

I wouldn't call that winning. Otherwise Anna Kournikova would be unbeatable. And we know that's not the case

You give Kournikova, Justine, Venus and Serena their own separate covers, who will win time and again?

KOURNIKOVA, she'd even outsell Maria Sharapova. Because the guys I've spoke to, still buy the Anna mags, and they think Maria is BUTT UGLY. That's what they are saying, and i guess it's true she's not really as cute as Anna.

I'm BACK & SINGLE. So lock up all the hotties!

She should go to Las Vegas and get married, or French kiss a fellow player after the match, possibly let one of her nipples be seen at the next tournament. Then she's winning.

I certainly hope Maria doesn't feel or think that way because she really is no better than Kournikova. Everyone who has half a brain knows the media is fickle. Why do you think Venus and Serena do what they want when they want. Because first the compliant was they don't play enough they need to support the tour. When they were dominationg it was oh this is boring for women's tennis other people need to win. When they were out people were upset cause they felt Serena could have come back sooner, and that we needed the two biggest stars of the game there. I hope Sharapova is smart enough to know this and realize that the media will have a field day everytime she loses. Because sad to say but as soon as some other 16 year old girl comes up and loos pretty and has a bit of game the media will say Sharapova who, especially if she's not winning as frequently as she is now.
