So what do you think?? Is there depth NOW??

Just about every top player has been tested in the early rounds..so what do you think now?? Has womens tennis reached a new high??

I think it is getting there. And it makes Womens tennis all the more exciting. I also like that there are about 4 or 5 people who could win the US open.

Domination is sometimes too predicatable.

No. It's always the same...top players take a vacation during one of the sets until the reality sets in that they are losing to some unknowns, and then they focus. Although...it is getting a bit better.

I don't know why people need to point out every 2 days that the depth is improving... There is no way it could get worst with time, so of course it's improving. But not THAT much though.

I would say that top players are more burn out or tired at the end of the season, comparing to let's say 12 years ago, that's really what makes the difference.

Nope, Top players don't bring their games in the early rounds and sometimes other players make them pay.

Actually the reason top players have difficulties to bring their games in the early rounds is because the opposition is better than before.
