I now see what all the fuss about Hantuchova. . . .

. . . .is about. Though she lost and is an apparent emotional wreck right now, she has one of the most beautiful and fluid games that I've seen since Miloslav Mecir.

If she can keep her head together, I think she is gonna have a nice year next year. She is SUPER talented.

I don't mind straight people as long as they act gay in public!

If you get a chance, get a tape of Hingis vs Hantuchova at Indian Wells 02.
That's probably one of the most memorable matches Hingis loses in my memory.

It really was cause that match showed that as long as you could be consistent while playing a big game you could definitely beat Martina Hingis

hingis then beat her on clay in straight sets later that year. Martina was very very tentative in that match. Had she been aggressive, Hantuchova would have been toast.

I agree that her BACKHAND is fluid, but her forehand and movement are NOT AT ALL FLUID!

Only treufiend would disrupt a thread. Who the fuck cares about the next time she and higis met. Bottom-line, she won that match fair and sqaure.
Topic related: I agree Pureracket -- She's a pleasure to watch when she is playing well

Her backhand is sweet but I don't think she has the mentality of the BOSS or the Williams sisters

Patty is a bad match up for her - the commentators were marveling at how Patty anticipated her shots and dealinfg with someone who just comes up with something special like a mishit line perfect lob when you need the point is just too tough if you need confidence. Better to play someone who gives you no hope rather than someone who dashes it.
