Wink Bittersweet question about your faves

Surely this has been asked before, but since I don't remember seeing it...

What are the head-to-head records between your (say top 5) favourite players? And when two of them meet, do you always have a clear favourite, is she changing according to the moment,...?

Mine have not met so often:

Dechy-Kostanic 0-0

Dechy-Kuti Kis 0-0

Dechy-Talaja 2-2
Budapest 1999 - clay - R32 - Nathalie 6-3 6-4
Strasbourg 2000 - clay - SF - Silvija 6-1 1-6 6-3
Canadian Open 2000 - hard - R32 - Silvija 7-5 6-4
Paris 2001 - carpet - R32 - Nathalie 6-2 6-2

Dechy-Tanasugarn 0-0

Kostanic-Kuti Kis 0-1
Estoril 2000 - clay - R16 - Rita 4-6 6-3 6-3

Kostanic-Talaja 2-0
Makarska 1998 - clay - R32 - Jelena 6-4 6-0
Bol 2001 - clay - R32 - Jelena 6-4 ret.

Kostanic-Tanasugarn 0-0

Kuti Kis-Talaja 0-1
Strasbourg 2000 - clay - F - Silvija 7-5 4-6 6-3

Kuti Kis-Tanasugarn 0-0

Talaja-Tanasugarn 0-0

Well my five top players are Kim, Venus, Serena, Justine and Martina... in that order. I'm not sure about head to heads but when Kim plays anybody I want her to win, when Venus plays anybody but Kim I want her to win, when Serena plays anybody but Venus and Kim I want her to win and so on....

It all depends on the situation really.

At the 1998 French Open I cheered for Monica because of her father's death.

At the Chase in 2000, I was cheering for both...for Monica a last title before the tournament left for Germany and for Hingis, a big title in a SLam-less season.

At the Aussie Open in 1999, I was behind Monica because I wanted her to remain unbeaten...ditto for 1998,1999 Canadian Open.

At this years' AUssie Open I was cheering for both because, Monica could have won her 1st slam in 6 years(and we all know she would have defeated Jen) and for Hingis to end her 3 year drought at the majors.

Cheered for Hingis at '98 US Open because #1 ranking was on the line.

Basically, I just always hope that they have a nice, long 3 setter. Lots of winners and no errors. Each woman should have her moment of victory if not the ultimate victory.

FUCK YOU, SEWTA.

I hate it when my top 3 have to play each other.
I find it impossible to root against either of them. But.. if Serena or Monica plays against Venus (in my heart I gotta go with Vee) but I always just sit and watch and keep my fingers crossed and hope nobody gets beat too bad, lol. Luckily Venus has only lost once to Monica and Serena, and that's not so bad. But I would prefer it if they didn't have to play each other at all except in finals.

Correct me if I am wrong, but Venus and Kim only played once and that was at the US Opne 2001 and venus won.

I am not conceited, I am just convinced

It use to be horrible for me before , but I can now control myself ... Venus, Serena , Monica , Lindsay and Jelena Dokic are my favourites , but I root for Venus regardless of whom she is playing... When Serena and or Jelena are playing against Monica or Lindsay , I root for them with the excuse that they're younger , and that Linds and Monica have won alot already... (thank God I am not a parent )
