Is Chanda destined to be just a top 30 player for the rest of her career??

will she ever manage to fight her way back into the top 10 again?? After all, she was a top 10 player only 5/6 months ago but of course alot has happened since then. I honestly thought that when she came back at Wimbledon, that by now she would be already ranked way inside the top 20.I expected that she would be rusty for a few tournaments but that it wouldn't be long before she'd find her stride again, like back in 2002 when she returned after her knee injury then. However it just hasn't happened. She has performed according to her ranking (23 still i think at the moment) in most of her tournaments back with reaching 3rd rounds.but she has also dropped many sets to players which she shouldn't be.still this is not so worrying as at least she still manages to win those matches, what is worrying though, is the manner that she keeps losing to the big players where she has only managed to grab a few games off them, don't mind a set. What really gives a cause for concern was her match today against Mauresmo, a player who she has a winning record over.I was expecting Chanda to at the very least, really stretch Momo in this match but instead what happened, Chanda gets rolled over yet again in two rather simple straight sets. It's all starting to become far too familiar and I really sympathize with all Rubin fans everywhere for what we have to constantly put up with.I just hope Chanda can pull back that magic she had at the start of the year even. But I most admit, my optimism for her is starting to fall rather dramatically.so what does everyone else think her future in tennis holds for her???

I don't think she'll get back to her top form, no.
Her best days are clearly behind her...

I find it weird how she hasn't done that well title wise. She's a great player and was floating around the top ten for ages. I'd love to see Chanda back to her best and winning something.

Of course she can return to the top ten.

She was in it last year.

Obviously it's not solely in her hands alone because there are more than ten players on the tour better than her but that doesn't mean they'll always be ranked above her.

Chanda is a great star

I love her, I think that she can play a lot of good tennis on the tour, she only needs don´t have more injuries.

Come on girl!

Rubin's last really good run was two years ago in the summer, and her reaching the Top 10 last year was really based on those great results from the summer of '02. So not having played at a high level for two years, she's not 100 percent physically, she's 28 yrs old, already had a long career and is a bit mentally tired, i say no way you will ever see Chanda Rubin in the Top 10 again. Finishing a couple more years inside the Top 30 and staying reasonably healthy will be a decent achievement for her.
