Shuai Peng def. (6)Jill Craybas 6-3 6-3

Great win for Shuai and this win breaks her into the top 100 for the first time...I think it'll probably be a long time before she ever leaves the top 100 now.

She's a top 20/10 talent with a big game and the field should watch out in Cincinnati!

Go Ai, Venus, Na, Tamarine!

Thats a great job by Peng breaking into the top 100. This time last year I had never heard her name! Best of luck in the future, b/c it only gets tougher & tougher. Perhaps by 2008 Olympics in China she will be ready to represent her country.

I'm already looking forward to 2008 in China. I think the Chinese are now all working hard to form great tennis teams b/c they love the Olympics so much.

Most think that by the Beijing Olympics Shuai Peng will be China's top player...Na Li also.

Go Ai, Venus, Na, Tamarine!

She hits the ball BIG off the ground and has a very good serve. She has two hands on both sides and just drills the ball.
Her shots are also verrrry flat so they skid through the court but she is also very good on clay because she can come up with some incredible angles (She won a 50K and 75K clay court event this year).
She is also qucik around the court but I think she can get even fitter!!!!! She is sooo much fun to watch and has a ton of talent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I saw her in the final of that 75K and she has tons of talent! She drills everything! She probably needs to work on her footspeed and agility a little but other than that she is very solid. Definite top 20 talent in her.
