Talking Top Players Boyfriends/Husbands-settling influence?

Does anyone know if the top players who have husbands and boyfriends are more settled and play better tennis/get more consistent results?
Obviously it works for Justine, Kim and Lindsay (plus Amelie has a long term partner) but what about Elena D, Anastasia, Jennifer and the other young Russians.

Note I am not sure of Venus or Serena's status hence did not include above although I think thye both have boyfriends if one reads the press.

the majority of evidence would suggest the exact opposite - that is, the women play better before they are settled down with a man, it keeps them hungry. Look at Graf, never really had a steady boyfriend while she was winning all those slams, look at Seles at her best in the early '90s, was the same thing. Hingis had a bunch of different revolving door boyfriends when she was winning slams. Jen Capriati was unattached when she mounted her great comeback in '01 to win two GS titles. Davenport was a better player, and won her three slams, before she got engaged to that guy she married. Venus and Serena weren't in relationships from 2000 to 2003 when they were dominating the tour.

The only one i can think of that supports your case is Henin - but then Justine was also attached to Pierre-Ives when she wasn't playing so well a few years back. And the Clijsters/Hewitt pairing seems to be positive for Kim's tennis, but certainly not for Lleyton's.

Francesco Elia is the best train for Silvia.

I think that also Roberto Alomar has been good for Mary.

MARIE!

Best luck to:
Nadia - Jennifer - Amelie - Marion - Tati - Serena - Alicia
Venus - Anastasia - Elena B. - Elena D. - Vera - Svetlana - Nicole
Karolina - Ai - Jelena D. - Virginie - Francesca - Nathalie - Chanda - Flavia

I just know that Myskina´s boyfriend has forbidden her to do further nude shots...she said that in a recent interview, lol. Why would he say that? I dunno

But still I guess Pierre-Yves is the most "effective" husband there is at the moment. Interestingly she started to get the big results after her wedding...

Rainer seems to be a good influence when he is with Patty.
He wasn't allowed into the United States during their Hardcourt season this year and Patty preformed poorley.

For such a God-fearing young woman you disappoint me. The son of a bitch concealed his criminal past from the Schnyders (what he pled guilty to in '02 occured between '95 and '98) in order to "get the case" (rescuing her from the Equally Evil Harnecker).

He then (despite already being married, BTW) "accepted her as payment" (a then 20 y.o. with projected big success and money awaiting) though he still fathered a child by his then wife B4 leaving, as proven by a DNA test he bitterly resisted, as He Has re. alimony To This day.

So whether his PP (Putrid Presence) helps her win tennis matches or not is secondary to me (and would be 2U if religion were more than your merely regurgitating biblical passages). Talk To her kid brother sometime about the family this Fuck Finished ripping apart.

I think that's a tad mean! Kim and Lleyton were a couple when Lleyts won the US Open, Wimbly and was No 1 for aeons!!

Or are you suggesting that this is the "kiss of death"?

Thanks Sherlock Holmes but you have regurgitated the same news as before.

For The Patty Fans We will adhere to Patty's Tennis Career and say that Rainer is making Progress with Patty which he is, and as long as Patty is happy and comfortable with her new profound lifestyle and helps build her Tennis, then as a fan thats all that matters, wanting to see Patty preform well is an ultimatim, and also being happy in herlife.

Being Religious or not Religious, no need to bring additional issues into the topic and try to make some intergration.

Patty is playing about the same this year as she played all the other 5 years she was with Hofmann - that is, bad to average, with an occasional very good result thrown in. She played her best tennis of the year (the last two years, really) during the US clay season when Hofmann wasn't allowed to come. Then last month, she played not very well on the West Coast without him. She reached Aus Open semis (no big wins, but still a strong showing) with Hofmann there, but then she played terrible at Wimbie and (especially) the French Open with him there in her corner. I'd say his influence is just another random factor, it's hard to say overall whether it's good or bad at the moment. In any case it's not worth having the same argument about that we have already had a lot of times.

**I'm talking about Hofmann's influence on Patty's TENNIS of course. His influence on Patty as a PERSON is a totally different question, and IMO it's pretty clear what that influence has been.** Hofmann is an unapologetic, convicted thief and con man. This is a guy who has no morality or conscience whatsoever.

The err, Hell I won't! In NT, you're oh-so-ready To Tell ppl here That They're defying "God's Laws" etc. (for the "crime" of being gay, for example). But when *OMG* a professional tennis player is an embarrassment to her family, her profession, and her/your country, that's OK huh?
