Who else here thinks the tennis coverage on Bravo Sucks?

I am not getting any of the updates from the other courts and the commentators seems amateurish to me. Also, how could they show the country's flags next to the score and when they are showing the points they do not include any graphics of the country's flag. To the average person watchning, this would be confusing.

I think it was a dumb idea to show tennis on Bravo when USA would have been the perfect choice, going on air at 4am live and staying till 12 or 1pm would have been more appropriate for that one week of tennis coverage. Didn't NBC think that showing tennis on USA would increase the viewers for the USopen when it begins? I mean come on now, Elena lost and the fans in US could not see it. Plus why didn't they show Chanda Rubin's match? Isn't she American too? I think this coverage on tennis is very overhype. It sucks big time.

When I think of life, sometimes my response is "Oh Damn!". But I still think of life anyway, "Oh Damn!!!"

I see where you're coming from and agree with some but,
I'll say this; considering that tennis isn't big in the Olympic scheme
we're lucky to be see anything at all so I won't complain. Also, I
think Jim and Barry are great commentators and don't grate on my
last nerve like the others.

Also consider, that if it weren't for Venus, Andy, Roger, & Martina we
might be seeing even less than we're seeing now.

Just my opinion.

Some of the matches were not live. They are like a hour delay. I think it starts at 10am Greek time and 5am our time, but there is a seven hour delay.

I would imagine that we are lucky to see any of the matches, but I thought the whole scheme of things would be to have the other networks cover separate sports to have full coverage of the sports itself and not the country's representation. I don't see that here. I thought we would get to see other countries against each other and to think that we couldn't even see Justine return to action or Chanda's match. The whole thing sucks. It's like one match a day they are showing and they show other countries against each other without a US player/team involved in the match. This is table tennis of all things. It is really frustrating to watch. I thought they would have shown
Amelie/Conchita match, but I guess not. Maybe they would show the highlight or a tape delay of the whole match. I expected more from the coverage, especially since it was hyped so much.

naw, it doesn't suck that much, what would really suck would be if there were no coverage at all.

They show tennis on ARD-ZDF channels on the satellite. They have 4 specific channels for the Olympics, and they are showing Federer right now...

I like Jim Courier. I think he should be with ESPN because his analysis is good and his commentating is funny, imagine him with Mary Carillo? It would be hilarious, because Jim seems to listen to what his partner is saying and that is what makes a good team.

it seems like all they are showing are men's matches. The only Women match I saw was the Ai vs Zheng Jie.....

MARIA SHARAPOVA: "Amélie, you know it doesn't really matter at this point. I mean, I'd love to, I mean, Amélie is No. 1 in the world. She's playing great tennis. You know, I love that challenge of going out there and competing against the best in the world."
You'd love to what, Maria?
