Jelena's serve is still terrible but these girls don't seem to know how to deal with it Her win percentages particularly on second serve are outrageously high given its quality. Anyway, Kumkhum next is a huge danger match in my opinion because she can absorb pace so well (e.g. vs Kvitova at AO) but Aljona is building nicely towards a potential title here!

By what I see here it seems the awfully bad serve from Aljona is still awfully bad. However it might be enough for this tournament. I hate those timezones.

For me they are too late actually. As Kasaktina keeps disappointing maybe Belinda could become the rival for Aljona. They already seem to not like eachother.

I think Kastakina will keep finding ways to randomly beat Ostapenko, which should provide some more press conference magic.

After first loss (2017 Charleston Final): I want to apologize to the crowd for playing such a horrible match.
After second loss (US Open): We're not friends; I don't really know her.

The potential third loss handshake and press conference should be epic.

I don't doubt it, but if she doesn't do nothing nice besides that, then it's not a nice rivalry, it's just random scrub beating a superior player. A bit like Cornet Serena in that year.

Why does kumkum dress like a boy? I watched for a few minutes and thought, "girl, wear a dress or a skirt.

Serena is untouchable.!!! Halep is getting there!! Konjuh: sky is the limit !!!! Watch out for Aiava!! Kristie Ahn, Sophie Chang, you are cool !!!!

Because shorts are a better outfit to play tennis in. And because it's 2017.
