It says that Lindsay is on a major tear like in 1998/2001, and that Venus is finally starting to regain some form. It says nothing about the rest of the field.

It says that if Venus could have played those tiebreaks better, then Lurch would have lost that match. And if Venus had been able to get that first set off ol' slewfoot at the JPMOrgan CHase Open, then Venus would have been the one to beat on hardcourts.

Mashona Washington must be the third best in the summer hardcourt season so far as she is only the second person to take a set off of Davenport!

It says that if Venus could stay healthy, she's Linsday's biggest threat.

I'm really hoping for Venus vs. Lindsay final at the Open, that'd be great

No, Damn that, Lurch would still get too close to her goal by making the finals. I want a Venus/Slewfoot QF at the US Open. Break Lindsays heart at the pass.

It says that Lindsay is havn't a great hardcourt season, and is the favorite as of right now going into the Olympics and the U.S. Open.

That you shouldn´t crown Lindsay the u.s.open winner just yet.

Does it annoy you that the WS aren't winning these kind of events, and you feel the need to insult other players?

Myskina * Henin-Hardenne * Zvonerava

Davenport - Dementieva
