Why wasn't Nastya vs. Vera match not a headline?

People, like Bundabou, are asking why Maraia's loss to Nastya wasn't a headline, while in my opinion it got plenty of attention : "Myskina beats Sharapova " was on every tennis site. And that wasn't even a pretty match.
Now Vera vs. Nastya was the best match of the year, and if not the best then it's just close to it, and what attention did it get? Not all sites had mentieoned Myskina in them. Other sites said "Davenport and Myskina reach final", and some said "Davenport in final" and wrote about Nastay and Vera only in the last paragraph. How unfair is that, you tell me? And don't tell me that Vera doesn't deserve as much attention as Sharapova because she doesn't promise so bright a future: she's still 19 and she's playing very well, promissing enough.

It is unfair, but it is like the difference between Princess Diana and Princess Anne, Diana still gets more media coverage in death than Anne has got her in her whole life but they are both Royals.

A) It's a routine win. Nastya is expected to win the match.

B) Vera has not won a slam

C) Neither player is anywhere as well known, or has got the charisma of Maria

Sabine Lisicki, Maria Sharapova, Elena Dementieva,

Victoria Azarenka, Dinara Safina, Maria Kirilenko

Nadia Petrova, Samantha Stosur, Ana Ivanovic.

Are you joking?
A) Routine? are you on CRACK? It went to 17-15 in the tb.... Hardly routine

B) So then what about all of Maria's pre- Wimbledon hype

c) Yeah, Myskina doesn't have as much charisma as Maria .... Anyways, what does charisma have to do with the fact that it was the best match of the year in terms of drama?

This match should have had way more press.

agreed..the actual title of the article was: "Lindsay jams knee, reaches final"

and the Myskina-Zvonereva match was in the article but it looked like Lindsay's injury that didnt even bother her in the final got more headlines then Myskina's saving 5 match points.
