Need a new racquet...

I just broke my old one. In search for a new racquet.
I prefer Head brand. Any Suggestions for a baseline hard-hitter?

I liked the head prestige tour...but I'm a Yonex man all the way.

Graf's stirring 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 throttling of Hingis at the French Open final this June was perhaps the most emphatic parting shot the game has ever seen. "

I don't know where you live, but I've bought demos and used racquets before if it was the model I wanted. Also try ebay or just do a search on your racquet.

ive demod a lot of racquets the past year and a half and the i.tour is right up there, i didnt like the liquidmetal racquets although i only tried one of them, the blue one, not sure which one that is as i didnt like it so didnt remember its name.

other than head the babolat pure drive is a nice racquet. for me the babolat pure drive and the i.tour by head were the best 2 racquets with good feel. i opted for a power racquet tho (which doesnt have much feel so my volleys and touch shots really suck now but i love the baseline so at this point it doesnt matter to much, and the power and control is nice).

Go the aussies! stosur!!!
and good luck russians: dementieva, safina, kirilenko, sharapova, kuznetsova, bovina, zvonareva, dushevina.

also good luck to: azarenka, lucic, sprem, vakulenko, vaidisova, safarova, ivanovic, groenefeld, mirza, krajicek, kvitkova, larcher de brito, lisicki.

only buy an i.prestige if you are a good player and time the ball well in the middle of the racket because its sweet spot is very small and if you mistime slighty it will go dead and most your balls will end up in the bottom of the net.

I'm good friends with one of the local teaching pros and he said he could get a few for 120 unstrung for me, but that I should talk to the owner of the small tennis shop in our town first...so I did, told the owner the price I was offered, and he offered me the 140.

What level are you? Im a hardhitting baseliner also and am quite erratic at times () and when I used the new Head Liquidmetal Prestige midplus, fell in love with the control. The only downside to this is that the lowest price you will find for this racquet is around $199. You should definitely keep trying to look around for the Head Intelligence Prestige becuase it is also an AWESOME racquet (almost on par with the new Liquidmetal) and at Tennis Warehouse (www.tennis-warehouse.com) you can get it for around $120. Great deal in my opinion

azarenka - pavlyuchenkova - li - jankovic
garcia - bencic - paszek - rus - kanepi - kuznetsova - stephens
bouchard - karatantcheva - larcher de brito - voegele - lim - mladenovic

mary pierce - forever #1
vaidisova - kournikova - golovin - henin
the boys - federer - gasquet - del potro - haase - nishikori

Would you be willing to sell one of those or get another one for me?

You should try the Head Liquid Metal raquets. I have the Liquid Metal Instinct(Myskina and Kuznetsova's racquet). The raquet head is like only 100 in., but it allows you to have more spin and length on the ball. Plus you don't have to hit the ball that hard to get power. The weight is heavier than other head racquets, so you have more weight on the ball. I think it is an excellent racquet.
