The Hardcourt Season So Far Belongs To Lindsay... Who Can Top Her...?

So far Lindsay has been on a roll.. two straight titles. Venus and Serena are not playing great - playing good but not great. The top Russian are just starting off the season. Mauresmo lost in her tournie. Will Lindsay dominate?

No one can stop her except herself and injury( I hope not ).
I only see serena as the main threat to her but still If Lindsay shows her A game on an american hardcourt, nobody can beat her.

It depends on whether the other players get back to form which at the moment doesn't look likely.

Myskina * Henin-Hardenne * Zvonerava

Davenport - Dementieva

It's too early to tell. Beside Serena (and Venus' retirement) Davenport has not beaten any other key players this hard court season. By that I mean Dementieva (who beat Dav at FO), Sharapova, Myskina, etc. So we will see.

Dementieva beat Davenport because Lindsay could not move... even a little.

If serena can get her head together, she might...but the signs of that are faraway to be seen. Although I must say that Venus really had her on the ropes before injury stroke at San Diego, so it might be venus.

Just an assumption: Myskina can stop her. They haven't played each other yet, so we can't be sure that Nastya can't stop her... But I'm guessing that Lindsay is the favourite in evry event she enters. Serena is also out there.
Mauresmo would have been a good guess without her strange loss this week.

Maria, Maria....how could I forget about my girl. You can write it here: Maria ends Lindsay´s run and only keeps picking up steam...becoming only player to win two slams this year. A Venus of´00 redux.

Real hardcourt season started only this week. No Grand Slam holder was in action before.

i think that only the Sisters if they start 2 plays @ their lvl can handle Lindsay. oh and Lindsay also sometimes beats herself.

Its a shame i have to spread rep around before giving it to you again as your posts are cracking me up tonight. The sad thing about it is, when it comes to this kind of thing, some are really serious. I mean who cares about any previous events since Maria wasn't there, they are meaningless right?

Myskina * Henin-Hardenne * Zvonerava
