Would you like to see Olympics defending Gold Medalist Venus get SR in Athens?

Her SR tournaments might run out, but since Olympics is not sanctioned by WTA, it means she just may get another break. I personally do want to see her getting one not only because I think she deserves it, I also think her 2000 Sydney win was magical. Would you like to see it in Athens? Would you like to see her getting another break? If she is seeded, she'll probably seeded #4 above Nastya.

She hasnt done anything very good in MOST peoples eyes..and being injured isnt really helping people believe she is seriously back..I think her NOT taking a SR like this week and doing great would let her shove it in peoples face that shes back..also Serena..

fuck.

The special seedings seem to hurt players more than they help the players. I think we should keep protected rankings, but abolish special seedings.

I don't know, many people think Venus is having a terrible year, but she truly isn't.

Yes, she is having a terrible year, FOR HER STANDARDS, BUT let's not forget that she is still in the top 5 for the champions race, which means basically, that she had the fifth best year of anyone.

Actually, special seedings are reserved only for those who are more accomplished, like Steffi and Monica, Lindsay and the Williamses. And WTA also puts these selected few players on probational basis.
So they'll make sure to terminate it if they think it's wrong.
