Why are some people SO jealous of Sharapova?

I mean she's beautiful, talented and the Wimbledon Champion. I've read some previous threads and some weird people have been using words like :

"too thin" - she's not thin, perfect model looks ( people who say she's thin are obviously fat ugly bastards).

"pale" - She has perfect colour skin, if anything she is quite dark. People who say she's pale must be colourblind

"not talented" - best grass court player in the world at the age of 17. Just cos she's beautiful does NOT mean she's not talented.

Harsh words, lay off her. If you wanna say good things about your fav players, then thats fine, but don't dis others!

Well after shagging, jealousy is the oldest "sin" in the book, so what do you expect?

Jealous?! Why would anyone be jealous of her?! Apart of Wimbledon she hasn´t done THAT much...and well she worked hard for her wins, so no need to be jealous.

Always bet on black!

"pale", I mean just cos you can't see yourself in the dark doesn't mean you should be jealous of other people's beauty.

wow that's quite an accomplishment.

Maria is finishing her high school at this age (by self-educating) and doing just a bit more (like becoming one of the best in world in her profession).

Vassilissa is my girl............

Sharapova isnt that beautiful .... i don't mind the girl but she is overrated in both tennis and looks.

Maybe i wouldn't be so annoyed at her if she wasnt shoved in my face 24/7 by the media and posters on this message board .... i mean realli .... when a new thread entitled "Where are all the maria threads gone" and then the message saying "why isn't anyone talking about Maria anymore yada yada yada" then it has gone too far.

She won a grandslam at 17 ..... wow so did Martina .... therefore Martina outshines Maria, she is nothing new. She is beautiful ...... arguable .... kournikova is better along with many other players. She has a personality ..... lots of players have personalities. She is nothing special.

Serena also had a slam at 17 and now she has 6 or so.

People, if before I was born I was proposed to choose between being what I am or being Maria Sharapova, I think I would probably take the second choice. Wouldn't you ?

SO that certainly explains why people can be jealous.
