Why should she w/d,
we don't know if it's really all that bad.

No one can say she's not dedicated and I'm
sure she'll make the right decision for herself.

Exclamation

This article was written before the tournament updated their website to say tht she was scheduled to play on Tuesday, so the information is dated.

Unless this injury is more seirous than we know, I still believe she is playing.

I trust Venus to make the right decision. I hope all is well with her and that she is well enought to compete, after this tournament she will have some time to rest before the open. I also hope that Lindsay does not play too much, she is as prone to injuries as Venus, and I want her to be healthy for the Open also.

Venus wins Charleston and Warsaw, is going for three in a row at Berlin, then BOOM, she rolls her ankle. She jumps out to a 5-0 lead against Lindsay the other day, then BOOM, her wrist gives out on her. Venus has officially replaced Amelie Mauresmo as the most snakebitten woman on tour.
