When Do You Think We'll See Another All-Williams Final?

It could've been yesterday not for Venus's injury, but it sure has been awhile.

So when do you think we'll see one next?

well the only option would be the Olympics or US Open, then the Season ending Champs i believe.

I am just wondering though, if the sisters win doubles @ olympics would they play US Open doubles knowing they are "THE" olympics champs again in doubles?

It's hard to predict considering that right now it's up to the draw to see if they will be on opposite sides or not.

actually I believe they both will play Philadelphia, and perhaps Zurich.

But I think it will be the next time the draw allows it. Hopefully at the Open.

I doubt they'll play doubles at the Open, they haven't played doubles there in eons it seems.

I wonder if their final is still drawing as much attention as we think it will be though. Especially if it's at a tournament where the Americans never even heard of, e.g. Zurich, I'm sure many dont even know it exists, for those Americans who think that Canada is a state of USA, lol.
Not to mention a lot of times, this final is usually anticlimatic.
Rather I want to see them meet in either the quarterfinal or the semifinal.
So I want to them play most in YEC round-robin, and hopefully the opening match, where they can play with the pressure off and that's where they have the most exciting matches.

Uhum...maybe a SF might be better right now...specially with Serena´s play in F these days.

depends. if Lindsay, Jennifer and in form Momo, oh and of course they army of Russian are not in their ways. I am not saying they are not as good as any of the above but with any of them around, the chance of the sisters meeting in the final slims significantly by each of these participant.

Oh well, you never know, maybe their next meeting is round the corner.

Justine Henin

Thank you.

After Venus stops wearing that dress!! It doesn't flatter her and it has certainly not brought her much luck.

I don't care to see an all Williams final simply because these two cannot play against each other. It's taxing trying to see who to cheer for. It's better they go on course in bettering their games and winning instead of even thinking or caring for an all Williams final.
