Wimbledon: So who is the dark horse?

Coming to Wimbledon it looks like our dear seeds who are out of form or are not comfortable on grass would like to avoid:

- Magdalena Rybarikova who is slaying on grass and I can totally see her reaching SF if she lands in the slightly easier section

- Ash Barty who can trouble them all and she gets better and better

- Anett Kontaveit, actually she is not much of a dark horse atm as she is missing seeding just by a few spots, but it's also somebody who can crush any seed

Those three seem to be the strongest, but there are also:
- Goerges
- Lisicki
- if Brady will have high % of 1st serves she can also cause an upset
- Vekic, when inspired she can crush hopes of some girls

Who else?

Bellis could make a run again if she avoids Görges, Lisicki, Pliskova etc.

at grass?

yeah right.

Niculescu.

If Flipkens could make SF then Niculescu can win whole thing.

Is Coco considered among the group with a shot to win it? If not then she could be called kind of a dark horse. :)

I hope journos/pundits do not hype Anett's chances much. No need for that kind of added pressure.

I give you that she played well, but c'mon... She was not THAT good. Few points here and there and an average Safarova would have beaten her. I still think she played better tennis on grass in 2013 when she only turned 17.
I'll be actually surprised if she wins more than 2 matches and makes R4 at a Slam for the first time.

Dark horses? Coco, Kontaveit, Giorgi, Pironkova, Barbie is she finds some form...
