LindsayD could be $2 million pounds richer

Lets face it - Lindsay Davenport has a very good chance of winning the US Open Series - with two titles already she is leading the field.

I would imagine her getting through to the semis at least of San Diego (her path looks like this:
1R: BYE
2R: Sprem
3R: Loit
QF: Suarez
SF: Mauresmo
F: Sharapova/S. Williams

Capable and has beaten all these players in the last year - so she maybe safe for title #3

with this she should be safely the winner of the US Open Series

and if she fulfils her dream of winning this years US Open - she will get double the prize money and then receives a cool $2 million

I think its very likely

Agree/Disagree?

Go Lindsay

But I think Karolina SPREM has a chance as well from Bottom Half

and Myskina from TOP half

The us open will be one to far for her i think. The bigger guns will get her when it matters but then again she is the most consistent out there at the moment and i will say it again...she should have nailed sharapova at wimby.

If the Acura Classic / Olympics are not part of the US OPEN Series, then Lindsay will win the US OPEN series for sure ...

If they are then maybe if Mauresmo or Serena sweeps both events, then they will win?

It is still kinda tough since Lindsay is playing Pilot Pen

You only get 50% bonus on what you win at the US Open not during the series. So what other tournies are Lindsay playing??

Davenport would have to win Acura, and Toronto and the US Open to win 2 million DOLLARS in the series, but I didn't think she was playing Toronto, or am I wrong!!

I'm afraid there is no women's tennis in Toronto this year. You probably mean Montreal.
