Cool Olympics Doubles Preview in SD: Mauresmo / Pierce vs. Sugiyama / Asagoe

Well the French Federation is having Mary and Amelie play in doubles at San Diego and Montreal in order to get match tough for Athens ... They have a tough opener against the Japanese Olympic team of Sugiyama / Asagoe Who do you think will win this?

I would like Mary / Amelie to win but the only way they can will be to overpower the Japanese girls who are much better doubles players ...

Team France

Team Japan

You have to favour the Japanese team to win for their doubles skills and experience.

All the same, that is a powerful French combo. It'll be coming at the Japanese girls hard and heavy.

Allez!

Japan...It takes more than powerful singles players to beat an excellent doubles team.

Go Ai, Venus, Na, Tamarine!
