A pretty packed draw, arguably the strongest grass table (women size) before Wimbledon.
Though after the 2nd or 3rd round we should expect a few awkward loses due to the proximity of the Major.

I expect most priorities are to get out healthy, but it will still have great matches!
I wonder if Kvitova willl play. Makes no sense after a full week now
But this is quite a good draw!
I like this! Todays SF match and Aga
(8)Radwanska v BYE
Goerges v Bellis
This draw looks incredible but has turning to crap written all over it when you look at the weather forecast. The weather is meant to be terrible from Wednesday onwards so I expect lots of players wanting to get to Wimbledon by the end.
This would be a bad week for rain because most of these players dont want a packed schedule at the end of the week
there are a lot of players who like grass, Vesnina, Aga, etc. who could use a few matches
That seems like a good section for Aga because Goerges, Bellis and Muguruza are all having long weeks now
But Aga has to be in some form.
If it rains a lot, it could be a pain in the butt for some of the players who havent played this grass season and now have to wait around all week
OMG..(wc)Broady v Kr. Pliskova- battle of the big serving blonde babes.
I agree Bouchard v Strycova could be entertaining, as long as Genie actually puts up some sort of fight or resistance and doesn't just get steamrolled.
Potential clash of Konta vs Ostapenko in third round could be good. Then the winner of that will probably play Kerber.
Angie has a very tough quarter while Simone will probably have Petra drop out of hers after she made the Birmingham final. I hope Angie CAN find some form. Her 2017 has been pretty shocking so far
Simona just wants to play a couple of matches before Wimbledon.
But the funny thing is, because of the Draw (if it wouldn't change) she's not having a legitimate excuse(!) for stopping, except if MLB beats Kvitova ...
The ATP tournament has also moved back to Eastbourne. The big question is: Are there two TV-courts at this years tournament? Center court and no.1 court?
Venus thinks she is good enough to win W without playing any warm-ups? Girl, you are not 20 anymore.
Meanwhile Konta tries too hard to be relevant here. This could cost her a burn-out.

It almost looks like Laura Robson is more well-known than her. :spit:
Perhaps that's why she's desperate to make a name for herself during the grass season.
This is so open and probably won't give a hint about Wimbledon. Rationally Pliskova is certainly the favourite, but for some reason I don't see her winning. I'd think maybe someone like Vesnina or Konjuh. Wouldn't underestimate Penko and Mladenovic.
Strictly on form, I'd say Kvitova or maybe Karo Pliskova. I think there will be a ton of tanking though, and see Jo with a chance. Hometown, and she's hungry for a grass trophy.
