Natalia has a nice game, she was beating Ana up in the first set

Ana Even if she supposedly wasn't playing well, it's a positive thing that she made it towards the end of an event again. Hopefully she can stir back to life soon.

Natalia has been steadily climbing the rankings, with nowhere near the hype of many of the other 1997 girls (her opponent included), and now she's into her first final. How does she play? I've yet to get around to seeing her yet.

Vikhlyantseva has the game to be a good pro. Not sure how far, but after Paris, you want to be in this form heading to a wide open wimbledon

The most wasted of all days is one without laughter....
Even if you're on the right track, you'll get run over if you just sit there
Enjoy This Moment!!

Not quite impressed with her game but she was consistent. I think whoever wins the other SF wins the tournament.

Being a bit harsh, I would say she's like Pliskova without any net game, slice and probably the worst footwork of the top 100.

I love Ana but as Naomi it seems that being in a tennis court is something painful for her.

Re: Ricoh Open SF: Vikhlyantseva d. Konjuh 6-3 7-5

I like Vikhlyantseva and she played well this week but Konjuh's errors felt like a bigger deciding factor than Natalia's game.
Ana's expression/body language really is something too.

Ana was terrible all week, so not surprising.

Perhaps Ostapenko is inspiring all of the other '97 girls.

Nata is already 20. It's the right time to make the move.
