Awkward movement as ever and leaking errors, serve not really doing anything. She tried her best today, though.
Fourliss has such a great temperament and never got upset. Umpire came down in the 3rd at least a dozen times to check ball marks and NONE of them went her way. She never got upset and kept going with a nice smile. I really did like that about her.
I love how Fourlis plays very aggressive, yet so quick and very good counter-punching skills considering she's only 17. Great attitude too, very humble and seemed to keep calm under pressure.
Typical Woz performance. Whining all the damn time and discussing calls.
Better player lost. Fourlis just didn't have enough in the tank at the end, had difficulties to serve in the third. With more experience and stamina, she'll eat Wozniacki with ease.
The Dane can be glad she has the most ridiculous draw possible cause poor first round losers like Wang or Schiavone would have sent her home in 2.
 Are you serious? It was Fourlis discussing calls all the time in 3rd set. There was only 1 call where Caro exchanged a word with the umpire and that's it. And Caro had reason to bitch to the umpire, after receiving and uncalled for time warning out of nowhere.
Fourlis is definitely someone to watch, she was relentless. A lot of firepower and moves really well, she was fighting her soul out there. Too bad for her Caro is just too strong physically.
I thought Caroline handled Fourlis power well in the 1st set, not stepping back but after the break in the 2nd set she lost it. Needs to step in to return 2nd serves, a lot of stupid errors. Good recovery in the 3rd, Fourlis didn't look like she was going to give up, she was very pumped all match.
Typical, Woz plays like shit but with literally the luckiest draw in the entire tournament, she's going sneak into R3 minimum, and our only hope is Bertens to get rid of her
From the play I saw, Fourlis' return really let her down in the end. A ton of 2nd serve returns hit well long. Just not enough experience yet, but she could get there.

I agree the same Ho Hum performance by Woz, plays the same boring shots with no drop shots, no lobs, no coming to the net her only skills are returning the ball and that won't be enough to EVER win a major!
Fourlis is playing really good tbh, she can beat some other players not defending and running as much as Woz. Her raw power is just amazing and aggressive mindset. She will be future top 10 for sure if she keeps improving. I really like her attitude and character on court as well...
Woz, playing so poor, but due to her kind draw, she will be through to R3 hopefully...
How embarassing was Wozniacki's backhand today? I mean, all her game was really poor, but I remember the backhand letting her win many points, while today it was something like: 50% in the middle of the court, 30% out and only the 20% deep in the court to put Fourlis playing far from the baseline :/
Apart from this, Fourlis played almost a perfect 2nd set, but that first set was the real deciding set. 2 random games where she lost her serve so easily with 8 UE, IIRC. Great personality, in the end she complained too much about some calls, but should have still won this. I don't think she is going to become a top40 or so.
