Maria just played a flawless match

If Maria can play like this consistently, she will be really difficult to beat

OH MY GOD... did you see her? She was ruling on Centre Court. She went for every shot 100% and she was just hitting winner after winner... Never seen her play like this.

Congrats to my girl Masha... Keep this going!

yeah I saw Daniela a couple of days ago, really thought she has a chance with the kind of form. But she went into the wrong person today. Maria is totally determined today, and did not have any hiccup to let Daniela any chance at all into the match.

Daniela will bounce back though I am sure.

watch out for maria! that's the best BY FAR that a woman has played in this tournament this year. simply amazing shots she made. and one handed (with the LEFT hand) passing shot was just amazing.

Maria played well and I don't think that Daneilla will be too disappointed with herself. She still needs time to pick her game up and she will do real well in the future. It is not easy to come back to the way things were before as we have seen in Venus and Serena.

Justine's always got the fight in her

Serena's always got it. Never underestimate the heart of a Champion

That was a fine win for Maria over Dani who was playing well. I think Masha has alot of potential. I hope she stays focused and healthy.

Happiness is like a cat. If you try to coax it or call it, it will avoid you. It will never come. But if you pay no attention to it and go about your business, you'll find it rubbing up against your legs and jumping into your lap. - William Bennett

I'm not sure she's mature enough for a Wimbledon victory. 17 is very young. But why not, there was Becker once upon a time, he was also 17.

It would be so great for Russia. She seems to be the last Russian able to pull this off

I saw the entire match, she played great but not flawless. Her backhand is superb but sometimes her forehand gets awkward when she catches it late. But she served really well.

Please God can we have the Sharapova- Sprem semi-final - it would really make up for the plague of dull GS finals you sent us.
