I was surprised Ostapenko was so civil at the net because at first she was giving Karo the same stinkeye she gives so often. They did kiss cheeks but afterwards Ostapenko had this over the top smile on her face which was so fake.. Hilarious, although understandable as no one could truly be happy with losing such a close/tight competitive match and it would have been her first 4th round at a grand slam.

the weirdest thing to date might have been karo pliskova inviting ostapenko for kisses at the net after she lost a tight match, and she accepted it and was all smiles. OZ def is the sunshine slam, and the gals just love to behave accordingly it seems. :hearts:

She's one of the worst when it comes to shake hands with the opponent. Win or lose she just loathe it.
With Bouchard it was kind of special tho'
