It's so distracting. It's giving me nightmares. I really hate it as it reminds me of alien symbols in one of those South American caves.

It's taking minimalism to another level, it is grating.

What design agency conned them out of 50K for that nonsense.

I like it. AO is very concise and good for advertising.

It's like they go out of their way to make Edberg (one of the nicest and most self-effacing characters in tennis) irrelevant.

Are you guys ancient? It's 2017. This logo is very current and modern.

I posted a thread like this in MTF.
I mean, it's modern, but should we really go in this direction in marketing the AO (I'll call it flatism :lol
, seeing it really are just the intials and only little trace of the logo pertaining to tennis?

It is actually much better than the old one which look so dated.
This new one AO is so modern and chic. Very neat.

The logo is fine.
It's the fact that they have gone for a black and white aesthetic for sponsors, but have colour on the ANZ picture that mildly infuriates me.

The logo is fine.

Why are they using the Greek alphabet, and what exactly is lambda omicron supposed to stand for anyway?

And like you haven't whinged in any of your previous posts? I loved the 2016 logo and never really noticed or complained about logos until this one. As someone said it looks like an ad for a condom.

Love it.

Yes. Nothing is worse than an upside-down V, which is not a letter that exists in English.
