Congrats to Myskina (bummed Venus lost)

C'est la vie. Clay makes you play.
To Paola, Elena, Anastasia and Jennifer - May the best woman win.

To Venus - On to Wimbledon!

Not blind. Not uninformed. We are party to atrocities. But the response of the world after 9/11 is worth noting. Even our most dire enemies offered aid. We should all be so lucky.

I've seen the full match now, and I really do have to give credit to Myskina. I saw the last half of the match first and just attributed the match to Venus' errors. I have now seen the whole match, and I think a lot of Venus' errors were due to Myskina. Not only was Anastasia running nearly everything down, but she was keeping the ball so deep. Venus' natural inclination is to be aggressive, but Anastasia wasn't giving Venus many short balls, so Venus was having to go for shots that weren't there.

Obviously Venus didn't play her best, but I think Myskina had a lot to do with that.

Prayed through the nights
felt so alone
suffered from alienation
carried the weight on my own
Had to be strong
so I believed
and now I know I've succeeded
in finding the place I conceived

Myskina (like she said) she saw that Vee was making to mutch EU so all that she was doing (like she said) was passing the ball to Vee part. Myskina played very well and with her head. well played and deserved to win. Vee had 3 chances to make 5-5 on 2 set but she blow it all with EU.

If I wasn't so tired I'd be devastated.

I hope Jen takes the title now.
