I think that she is like Spirlea one of the most wasted talents in history.

Anne-Gaelle Sidot is the most waste talent than Jana Kandarr's.

Inspiration is for amateurs

I`ve heard that before but I don`t have any background information. Interesting to see and hear she wants to play again. I hope she does! When did she play her last match?

As hoekie said, lets not compare a player that barely troubled the top 50, to someone that actually went top 10.

But I see your point, in that you're probably referring to the fact Spirlea didn't make the most of her opportunities after making it 'big'. Anyway, back to Jana K. I never thought she was that good. Sure, she had flashes of brilliance, but they were few and far between (most players ranked about 50 have those odd flashes occassionally). Maybe she should have had a better career, but I never thought she'd ever trouble the top 20, which she didn't do. Don't think she came close (what was her best rank?).

I think she was No. 45 around.

I just speak about her game. she had a good serve and a good forehand, b had no stamina at all. She had highlights, I remember a defeat of Maggie Maleeva as she was at her peak after the injurybreak. She reached Round 4 of the Australian Open and so on. I just think she could have been more consistent in the top-50; more than 3 months or how long was it??
