Is Jana (Novotna) coaching anyone?

I wonder what she is doing now she is retired. I remember reading, back in the days that I was a lurker, that she was watching someone at a challenger, but can't remember who.

Anyway, I hope she is having fun.

Good luck!

Well she played an ITF 50k challenger at the end of last year, so I don't think she is coaching.

I think that challenger was just a one-off doubles match w/Rinaldi. Maybe because a coachee (is this a word ) was playing.

Good luck!

Not Cargill.

I am almost positive that it was Carly Gullickson she is coaching.

Either her or Cory Ann Avants, but I'm pretty sure it's Carly.

Yes I think it is Gullickson, I remember from the thread before.

She has had an awful year though, I hope Jana can turn it around soon.

Good luck!

Jana seemed to like coaching Carly a lot and in an interview said she loves it.

Nice to see Jana enjoying herself in retirement. Novotna and Gullickson haven quite contrasting games though? It would be interesting to see how that works out.

The fruit series is suspended whilst Grachka (obatafan) mourns Saori's retirement.

What is a TD for LUX?

I hope a lot one day to meet Jana, maybe if I can make it to Wimbledon. I grow up as one of few people watching tennis in my country and Jana was the one I grew up with, and who I modelled my game on, lol. I miss her play a lot. Anyway, people must think I am a bit silly and emotional

Good luck!
