Funniest thing your favorite player has said?

Whenever I watch the 1998 US Open final and Lindsay's acceptance speech, she cracks me up! After receiving the check for $700,000 and the guy tells the crowd that it's Lindsay's mom's birthday, Lindsay laughs and says "yeah I guess she thinks she's getting a really nice gift now, huh?" gets me every time...

LINDSAY DAVENPORT
Mary Pierce-----Monica Seles-----Martina Hingis

Serena after the semi's of Wimby 03 - "Sorry about that" to Justine.

Venus after her loss to Hingis USO 97 - Reporter: "What happened out there today?" Venus: "Well, I went out there and lost the first set 6-0, and lost the second 6-4, then the awards ceremony." LOL

that's my all-time favorite venus quote! let that be a lesson to journalists to ask more specific questions if they want more specific answers

I had to crack up when Serena admitted that some family and friends were calling her "El Cheapo." I think this was when she was trying to recover from her online shopping addiction.

Even though Kim isn't exactly my favorite, I love it when Pat McEnroe (?) questioned her about her hunger and she said something like she is because she hasn't had breakfast...ok yeah i ruined it

Justine:
Q: Did you like her lilac dress?
A: Yes.

Just a joke here!

Serena's not my fav. but her quip about Hingis was great

" I don't know maybe the lack of a formal education?"

Serena again when Pam asked her about all the letcords in her match w/Hingis 98 Lipton. Pam aske Serena if the net played a factor in the match to which Serena replied. "Yeah it was there the whole time"

"Hatred is the coward's revenge for being intimidated" - George Bernard Shaw

"And for the best of the teen-agers who followed her, and who occasionally referred to her as over the hill, Graf had a ready answer: against top-ranked Martina Hingis, Graf wound up 7-2. Graf's stirring 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 throttling of Hingis at the French Open final this June was perhaps the most emphatic parting shot the game has ever seen. "

....This is fucked up, fucked up....

This is your blind spot, blind spot.
It should be obvious, but it's not.

You cannot kickstart a dead horse
You just crush yourself and walk away
I don't care what the future holds
Cause I'm right here in your arms today
With your fingers you can touch me

I'll be your black swan, black swan
I'm for spare parts, broken up.
