Iris Ichim!

Anyone know anything fun about her? I love her!!! I know she is 18, Romanian, has had some decent junior results, and is a gorgeous girl!

Yeah I've seen pics before, she is indeed very beautiful. Not really done anything much in terms of results though.

In juniors she defeated:
Angela Haynes USA (WTA: 157)
Nicole Vaidisova CZE (WTA: 197), but lost during quarterfinal Orange Bowl 2003: 0-6 0-6.

Lost to Sesil Karatancheva BUL (WTA: 199) with 4-6 6-3 5-7
Lost to Eugenia Linetskaya RUS (WTA: 149) with 2-6 6-1 6-7 (8-10)

Lost to Marissa Irvin USA (WTA: 112) with 7-6 (8-6) 3-6 6-7 (2-7)

Looks like she has some potential, but was not lucky enough in some tough matches.

Another American underachiever who ain't going anywhere. IMO, Andrea Remynse is our best prospect (though little Kelly McCain, Carly Gullickson, Jessica Kirkland, Jamea Jackson, Tanner Cochran, Amber Liu, And Ally Baker could also win an odd lower Tier Title, plus a few Challengers). If Ashley stays in the game after marriage, She Should win a few Tier III and unders.
