The Russians??

They all SUCK...'cept Sharapova.

Just when you think they are gonna make they collapse.
They can get to the mountain top, but can NEVER cross over. Why do they continue to be second rate players??

Please Sharapova, CONVINCE ME WRONG...everyone else SUCKS!

I think that's WAY harsh. Quite a few of them have talent and are still young. With so many of them being upper ranked players, I think they're doing quite well.

Amélie Mauresmo, 2009 GDF Suez, 2007 Proximus Diamond Games, 2006 World No. 1 ,Wimbledon Champion, Proximus Diamond Games, Gaz, Australian Open, 2005 YEC, Advanta Chamionships, Italian Open, Proximus Diamond Games, 2004 World No. 1, Advanta Championships, Generali Linz, Rogers Cup, Italian Open, German Open, 2003 J&S Cup, Advanta Championships, 2002 Rogers AT&T Cup, Dubai Open, 2001 Gaz, Nice, Amelia Island, and Eurocard Ladies German Open, 2000 Adidas International, and 1999 Bratislava Champion

There's a fine line between love and hate; that line is called family!

No one does things exactly the way I want them to. No one ever has. It’s a problem they have!

For so many top ranked Russians only two SF´s and no real real BIG wins either...I guess there´s still time.

Thats true for some Russians but not all. Kuznetsova is doing really well this year, beating top players, so theres no way u can say that about her.

I think Svetlana's been playing a LOT lately with doubles and all. She's got to be tired.

kuznetsova and zvonareva are still young and are both inside the top 15, sharapova is young and inside the top 20 (hovering in and out atm). safina is young and is near the top 30, lina was top 30 last year and is young (she's dropped off this year but that could be because of all the problems she's having) bovina is around 30 or just inside it she isnt quite so young. douchevina is young and is steadily moving up the ranks, kirilenko is young and is slowly moving up the ranks.

most of the top russians are still young and can still improve a lot.

Go the aussies! stosur!!!
and good luck russians: dementieva, safina, kirilenko, sharapova, kuznetsova, bovina, zvonareva, dushevina.

also good luck to: azarenka, lucic, sprem, vakulenko, vaidisova, safarova, ivanovic, groenefeld, mirza, krajicek, kvitkova, larcher de brito, lisicki.

One should see them as individual players, not as "the russians", I Think...but sometimes that's hard with so many Elenas

I'm also little dissapointed with russians, but still hope they will someday go all the way on grand slams.

TOP 10
1.MARTINA HINGIS
2.Meghann Shaughnessy
3.Elena Dementieva
4.Kim Clijsters
5.Ana Ivanovic
6.Anastasia Miskina
7.Patty Schnyder
8.Katarina Srebotnik
9.Andreja Klepac
10.Masa Zec-Peskiric

imo sharapova will be a slam winner maybe even a multiple slam winner, kuznetsova will be a big threat at the slams in the future and i think zvonareva will be a threat a RG in the future. bovina has the game if she can get more consistent to be a threat at the slams to. and we'll see about douchevina and kirielnko in the future. dont forget the juniors like kleybanova and the junior russians that are good players.

Go the aussies! stosur!!!
