just from reading that article,although can't understand the language, i was still able to make out that they mention chanda being the top seed , another article mentioning chanda's comeback

that was a pretty obnoxious demand by Navratilova, if true - hopefully they told her where she could take it, because Austria has quite a few players who need the WCs. You've got to feel sorry for somebody who made all that money, and yet she's still scrounging around for a few nickels more. It wasn't enough for her to take a spot in the draw away from somebody who deserved it, she had to go and demand 40K as well.
