Worst Fed Cup team of all time?

I know its a bit late for Fed Cup questions and information, but perhaps it might be interesting.

I will nominate my own. Iceland has to be the worst

No ties won. ONE match won in four years/23 ties. (a doubles match that Staub & Stefansdottir won against Cameroon)

Why do they not play any more? (apart from the obvious )

Good luck!

Conchita Martinez, Ai Sugiyama, Ruxandra Dragomir Ilie, Emma Laine, Asa Svensson, Hanna Nooni, Ting Li, Ashley Harkleroad, Jie Zheng, Janette Husarova, Denisa Chladkova

Good luck for Iceland Fed Cup team

a team who had two of the great claycourters of all time on it who lose a FedCup tie to Austria who was led by a semi-retired Barbara Schwartz.

Iceland is very lush and green compared to Greenland which is very barren and icy.

They were used by vikings to defer people from going to the islands.

We have barely any tennis courts

Nobody plays it in Iceland. Stella Kristjansdottir was our regular Fed Cupper along with Iris Staub and they never won a match

We have like two juniors? (Gudrun Oskarsdottir and Birna Hardardottir come to mind) but they only really play tournaments that people dont follow and they lose too (and have no rank). I presume we will enter the Fed Cup when they are grown up again.

Good luck!

Good luck for Iceland Fed Cup team
