Foot in mouth disease, or what I like to call Mad Cow

The players who have bad mouthed or trashed other players, only to have to eat crow.

Martina Hingis ""She can be #1 when I retire!"
"She's half a man"
"She's old and the game has passed her by"

Patty
Anna "I was tired...."

anymore nominees?

"Hatred is the coward's revenge for being intimidated" - George Bernard Shaw

"And for the best of the teen-agers who followed her, and who occasionally referred to her as over the hill, Graf had a ready answer: against top-ranked Martina Hingis, Graf wound up 7-2. Graf's stirring 4-6, 7-5, 6-2 throttling of Hingis at the French Open final this June was perhaps the most emphatic parting shot the game has ever seen. "

Viele mouthed off about how she should be allowed to play fulltime on the pro tour because she could beat everyone.

Didn't Alex Stevenson once complain about how rude the French players were because they walked around speaking French all the time? (not to be confused with the other accusation she made about what they were saying)

Reason is poor propaganda when opposed by the yammering, unceasing lies of shrewd and evil and self-serving men.

Who did she lose to before making that statement? Has she played them again? Did they beat her again?
