Ivanovic

Can Ivanovic get a French Open wildcard? It seems as though they run out of god French girls with about 5, plus Nav, there may be room for some young foreign up and comers.

Ivanovic is da bomb

Instead of giving the WC to Stevenson or Majoli or Navratilova, give it to Ivanovic

she should DEFINENTLY get a wildcard for winning 3 straight ITF Titles and a final before that.

My Forever Fav: Jelena Dokic

Serena Williams, Ana Ivanovic

Navratilova has already been confirmed, but if they give one to Stevenson over Ivanovic...I will physically die. Spontaneously combust...something...it won't be pretty.

i think last year Sprem did good results before RG but she didn't even play on qualie. i'm not sure that she injured or they didn't give her WC but that's a pity.

Ivanovic deserves one based on her results this year, no questions asked. Navratilova...nothing against her but I;d at least make her play one quali. THis ain't grass...

Ana is definitely one of the more impressive 16 year-olds out there right now. And depending on what kind of draw she would recieve, I would assume she would probably do better than the majority of the French wild cards.

puhlease ivanovic shouldnt be used in the same breath/sentence as navratilova or stevenson..

give ana a WC for quallies - she has yet to proove anything at wta level...ana should turn out to be a good player eventually but its too early! she needs to play wta events before being thrown in to a MD of a slam

Good luck to the Aussie and Balkan girls!

Sprem got into quallies but she was playing the SF at Strasbourg so she couldnt be there.
RG usually gives WC's only to French players, i think the only GS to give WC's to foreign players regularly is Wimbledon, coz they dont have any good players themselves.
