2 1/2 Italians in quarterfinals...

The Italians can be proud of their home players: Farina-Elia and Schiavone in the quarterfinals, Smashnova-Pistolesi as a semi Italian as well and Penetta beat Petrova to reach the last 16. Other countries would pay much money to have that many home players do well on home soil... Italy => GRANDE tennis performance this week!

CaptiATI?

2 ( 1/2) Italians, 2 ( 1/2) Russians, 2 Americans. I French player underlines how well the Italians are doing.

I think Anna sees herself as firmly Israeli though.

Jen is American, isn`t she? Born in NY! By the way, is there a German person in the list of ancestors of Jen`s family?

Many Sicilians don't regard themselves as 'Italians' but rather as Sicilians, Italians identify themselves by regions.
