The best tourny ever! (in some point of view...)

read an amazing report of Glyn James, who went with Maria Arkhipova and Jeny Savranski to the 10K tourny at Bournemouth HERE. Excellent stuff!

Comments are welcome of course

nobody even looked at it....

whilst threads about nude-calendars and discussions about wheather Serena should get a fine if she injures herself have 30+ replies, my thread disappeared from page 1, without having any views.....

maybe its no wonder if we only read about moans, titts, and fashion if newspapers do reports about tournaments.....

obviously that all what gains attention.....

That's interesting. I admire girls like that who have to get through of early rounds of 10Ks but keep it up because they love tennis and have great goals. Thanks for posting!

Well, I walk into the room
Passing out hundred dollar bills
And it kills and it thrills like the horns on my Silverado grill
And I buy the bar a double round of crown
And everybody's getting down
And this town ain't never gonna be the same.
Cause I saddle up my horse and I ride into the city
I make a lot of noise
Cause the girls, they are so pretty...

What a great article. Really enjoyed reading the "tennis adventure" of this writer - hope there's a part two or more!

One thing that struck me was what an intriguing and compelling picture he drew of the player, in words, without a single word of physical description. The girl was just "Maria".

Kind of refreshing. Thanks for posting the article.

ok, Maria is Maria Arkhipova from Russia. 19 years old and ranked somewhere in the 5 or 6hundrets....
HERE is a match report of one of her previous matches which includes a small pic of her. It might gives you a impression of whom Glyn is talking about....
