Active players to have defeated your fave at a slam.

In light of the FO coming up in 2 weeks Let's review active players to have defeated your fave at a slam to look at possible dangers to your fave in a draw

Venus:

Lindsay Davenport (3 times)
Barbara Schwartz (once)
Barbara Schett (once)
Monica Seles (once)
Serena Williams(5 times)
Vera Zvonareva (once)
Lisa Raymond (once)

Serena:

Venus Williams (3 times)
Ruano Pascual (once)
Sandrine Testud (once)
Elena Likhotseva (once)
Lindsay Davenport (once)
Jennifer Capriati (twice)
Justine Henin-Hardenne (once)

Wow, the sisters have had some freak losses at the slams. Other than those the only really good players to have defeated them were Davenport Seles, Capriati, and Justine Henin-Hardenne. And each other of course!!

For Venus:
Barbara Schwartz still considers herself active, right?

-one of those "bad" Williams fans that everyone keeps talking about

The stat I like is that since Wimbledon 2000 all the players who beat Serena at a major went on to win the title....only Lindsay at the ´00 U.S.open, Martina at the ´01 oz open and Jen at Wimbledon ´01 didn´t win the title.

Always bet on black!

Well, I walk into the room
Passing out hundred dollar bills
And it kills and it thrills like the horns on my Silverado grill
And I buy the bar a double round of crown
And everybody's getting down
And this town ain't never gonna be the same.
Cause I saddle up my horse and I ride into the city
I make a lot of noise
Cause the girls, they are so pretty...

All
ez Amélie!
