Kucova exposes the FRAUD Konta :haha: Konta could not put a second serve return into the court in the last game despite all of them being Errani-speed :haha: The most FRAUDULENT and OPPORTUNISTIC player ever.

 Never forget when Jo beat a slumping Garbi at USO, and they had the nerve to write, "Which one is the Wimbledon finalist?" Such an embarrassing and insufferable media outlet who regularly overstate the importance of their home-grown players

I'm really indifferent about Johanna. Konta is really talented so she will still enter Top 10; it's only a matter of when. Perhaps she was overwhelmed by the occasion. Anyway, not surprised to see her spraying errors left and right. Her technique is really not sustainable, especially against retrievers who get lots of balls back and can frustrate her.
Her game has already shown it works best on faster surfaces so I'm interested to see how she does over the next few weeks!
Thank god, Konta reminds me on Daniilidou a fluke season or two gets close to top 10 then reverts back to challengers and outaide top 100 where she belongs a year or two later
Johanna that was just :SNE: Had to have been her worst match of the year. Error after error after error. All Kucova did was put the ball in the court and she didn't need to do any more than that.
Kucova has been been lucky to get back-to-back opponents who imploded in errors, but credit to her for holding her nerve and taking advantage of her chances. What a week for her
Well well. There is a new kid in the block huh? :grin2: Well done Kucova:yeah: Is she anyhow related to Pome? Same height, same bodytype, same intensity, same fist pumping after every point and also from the same country:smile2:
Pomeeee Kika!! So happy for her she deserves this result after all the times she got close to the top 100 but never could make it - really like the angles she can produce with her FH especially
As for Konta a little classless at the very end there
which says alot about Konta. Me, someone who dislikes Konta with all my heart, was pretty sure there was no way she was losing to such a scrub. Guess she proved me wrong?
Kucova annoyed the hell out of Genie last night and Jo tonight. I partly sympathize because backboards like her are exasperating. I can't feel too sorry for them, though, they were both completely outplayed and clearly were preoccupied thinking they shouldn't be losing to this low-ranked player instead of focusing on the task at hand. Jo still has some work to do mentals-wise.
To be fair, i think Konta was likely going to run out of steam at somepoint having won her first title last week. I also suspect one eye on the olympics too. Kucova is GOAT'ing though right now and is deserving this run which is awesome for her. I hope she maintains it.
Before this weak I don't recall seeing Kucova play and if I did she didn't make an impression on me. Even this week her game hasn't impressed me. However, what has impressed me is this young lady's zeal and determination. Therefore, I say, go head girl! Here's a fist pump for your next match.
