'Other'

I hear Kuznetsova suffered a slight injury in this match, either end of 1st, or beginning of 2nd set. She seems to have played better afterward, so I gather it was, while perhaps limiting, not a long term problem. See other threads for details. If you HAVE details, feel free to post them here.

how can Venus possible have won with a 6-1 6-4 scoreline if she only broke Kuznetsova's serve once?????

Break points......01/02 (50%)..

A man may fight for many things. His country, his friends, his principles, the glistening ear on the cheek of a golden child. But personally, I'd mud-wrestle my own mother for a ton of cash, an amusing clock and a sack of French porn.

Williams' stats are Kuznetsova's stats! There's a mistake with the names!

VOLCANO...you're Blind? The Kuznetsova Service Winning Percentages don't stand out first? Venus PUNISHED her on 1st and 2nd Serves today. It's obvious to me that Venus won this match on her Great Return Game today.

KUZNETSOVA'S SERVING STATS
1st Serve %..............53%
Win % 1st.........16/28 (57%)
Win % 2nd.........09/24 (37%)
Double Faults..........0
ACES........3

And what makes it Relevant is that Kuznetsova had NO DOUBLE FAULTS! So Vee's return game was So on today. 9 of 24 second serves so 16 of those where punished or Vee hit an UE

NOW TRENDING

Sveta held first serve in set 1 and nothing else in that set. In set two she broke vee to go from 0/2 to 2 all, from then both held serve till 4 all, venus held and broke for the match. The stats depend on when you take them. They were only updated at the end of each set.

Rena- a tennis great! 22 at striking distance.

Sorry. Reversed the names. I just got up, since I knew I would get to actually see the match. I didn't expect it to be over this soon.
