63 UE'S for Dani!!

Hantuchova hit 63 UE in her match against Pistoles.
Needless to say, Dani lost.

My only question is, did she get any balls in play?
What has happened to this player in the past few months. she doesn't seem to have her heart in the game as she once did.

She better get it together soon or both her heart and thin body will be out of the game in short time.

To be fair though, that's Anna's gameplan in general. She just resists until her opponent is frustrated or overpowers her.

I wonder if she's even hit 63 winners in her career .

She's a fallen star. Thank god she beat Martina to get her props. But today we now know that would be easy.

Yes but she also hit 41 winners (and 59 yesterday).

Daniela: 41 W / 63 UE
Pistolesi: 13 W / 23 UE

This shows that she is at least trying to make the plays and win the points. Some you win, some you lose. Looking at Pistolesi's figures, it seems she was content to let Daniela make all the plays and the mistakes. You can't blame Daniela for not trying. She saved several match points when down 3-5 in the second, and also managed to break back to 5-5. At least she went down fighting, and yesterday she too showed great fighting spirit after being down 0-5 15-40 in the first set to bring it back to 5-5.

She has shown more nerve and determination in these last two days than many other players, so please, get off her back and give her a break and some credit where credit is due.

63 doesn't seem to bad considering that players like venus made 52 errors, to lose to elena at miami, justine 52 to lose to amelie at AI and hewitte also 52 to lose to (someone at montecarlo) ten more for dani ain't too bad.

Rena- a tennis great! 22 at striking distance.

but 63 is HORRIBLE in 2 sets...venus played 3 close sets and a thirs set tie break..lot of games so 52 is ok...but in 2 sets....63!! she can def. not compete if she is aiming at the net or 5 ft beyond the baseline
