Rounding out the rest

When we have such polls and discussions regarding comparative careers between Serena, Martina, and Venus, it is clear that they are the post-Graf golden girls as of right now. But what do you guys make of the rest of the field who has shown the ability to win numerous titles, get to the number 1 spot, make numerous Grand Slam finals? Names like Davenport, Capriati, Henin-Hardenne, Sanchez-Vicario, and Clijsters come up. How do these players measure up against one another? Who would occupy the spot right beneath Serena-Martina-Venus? And Why?

ASV, long career and still has more slams than the others on the list, even as many as Venus.
Lindsay D or JHH. uhmmmm.....Lindsay has more titles and a longer career, but Justine is rounding really nice into an all-surface player( with the help of injuries to key players) and is really picking it up fast.
Jennifer. 13 months of semi greatness, should have won more titles.
Kim...nice and all, but show me the biggies.

Always bet on black!
Can you handle the truth?

Good thread.

Sanchez-Vicario would be considered the next "greatest", followed by Davenport, Henin, Capriati, and then Clijsters.

As far a present and future potential, Justine tops the list followed by Clijsters, Capriati, and Davenport.
