I just hope she's in shape, since she stated she was tired. Anyways, since Kim is probably not at the her best level of play, I think that Karolina (or even Jelena, why not?!) have a chance to win against her. Always something interesting and unusual comes up with Fed and Davis cup, why not here and now?
Good luck to Croatia, however, I do hope Kim is ok and healthy now.

Clijsters to play Fed Cup against Croatia
April 23, 2004

BRUSSELS, Belgium (AP) -- Kim Clijsters' injured left wrist has healed enough to allow her to play for Belgium against Croatia in this weekend's Fed Cup.

The second-ranked Clijsters had been sidelined for five weeks and her availability is a big boost for Belgium, which is without top-ranked Justine Henin-Hardenne, who is recovering from an energy-sapping virus.

Belgium, the 2001 champion, would have been in a tough position in the first round of the world group without both stars.

hometown of Bree, opening against Jelena Kostanic on Saturday.

She is expected to play with a wrist brace. Because she has a two-fisted backhand, both wrists are essential to her game.

``I'll be a little bit hesitant in the beginning, but I will definitely go for it,'' she said Friday.

Clijsters injured her left wrist last month and kept it in a brace until last weekend when she played a charity match against fiancee Lleyton Hewitt.

Kirsten Flipkens will play the second match against Croatia's Karolina Sprem. Reverse singles and possible doubles are set for Sunday.
