I know it's mens tennis but...IRAQ HAS A DAVIS CUP TEAM?!

They played in the Davis Cup a couple of weeks and actually went 1-2 in their group. I'm just trying to figure out where they play, how they do it, if it's even safe for them at this point...kinda interesting actually.

It is interesting.

I don't know but, I have a tremendous amount of respect and admiration for them even be able to compete with all the turmoil in their country.

Athletes represent their countries. You cannot appear imcompetent when your countries are in turmoils. Paola said she loved her country and wanted to keep it up just for her love for Argentina when she reached French Open QF the year Argentina declared bankrupcy. I salute these players for their patriotism. Hope they will never have to face Israel tho.
