Cool We have seen the last All - Belgian GS final

It started at the 2003 Roland Garros, continued at the Open of the same year and the last one occured at the 2004 OZ. Those events were the All-Belgian GS finals and it seems, with the illness and injuries to JHH and Clijsters and resurgence of VENUS and SERENA on the tour, that the all Belgie era has ended and that the All-Williams GS finals are once again, on the horizon.

The All-W finals may not transpire as often as in the past, but they will, most likely, happen. But, then again, we may be in for the third phase which may be more Williams-Belgie GS finals, as was the case at the 2001 Wimbey final.

However, after the retirement of the fabulous Williams sisters, we may even possibly witness the first All-Russian GS final.

But, don't expect to see Anna K in that All-R final.

Fate it seems, is not without a sense of irony!

And, I agreed with you, I could be wrong and a Belgie will never be in another GS final.

Bye.
