Charity Auction Offer's Anna's Dress, Lessons With Evert

If you've always wanted to get inside Anna Kournikova's tennis dress, now is your chance.

An tennis dress once worn by Kournikova and signed by the tennis model as well as a weekend trip to Boca Raton, Florida that features a tennis lesson from former No. 1 Chris Evert are among the items up for bid on The Chevy Chase Earth Day Auction, which will be conducted on the Internet, April 22nd-May 6th.

The former Saturday Night Live star and actor, who is the son of Tennis Week senior writer Edward T. Chase, is hosting the auction with proceeds going to The Center for Environmental Education. Founded in 1989 by Jayni and Chevy Chase, The Center for Environmental Education is a national non-profit environmental education resource center and clearinghouse. Its goals are to provide a link between the educational community and the abundant environmental resources available and to aid the integration of environmental education into all aspects of the K-12 curriculum.

In addition to the Kournikova dress and Evert tennis lessons, other items up for auction include:
  • Lunch with former President Bill Clinton and Chase at Sylvia's in Harlem
  • A Fender bass guitar used and signed by Sting
  • Four VIP tickets and backstage introduction to David Bowie at Jones Beach, on Long Island
  • Four tickets and a meet and greet session with singer Norah Jones

Incredible auction. If I had the money, I would bid for that lunch with Bill Clinton. Then I would get to ask him the really important questions like "Did you really use a cigar on Monica Lewinsky?" LOL!
